Moving Day

Since the beginning of the month we've been packing stuff up and bringing it over to our new more conveniently located (and all around better) apartment and last night we brought over the final boxes and furniture. It's an exciting time, because I get to decorate (after we clean, uhhh...).
Normally I just kind of let all of my many, many trinkets and wall hangings ooze onto the walls and surfaces like the Blob and hope for decent results but this time I like to think that I will give it some thought and really consider some better organizational options. I found a ton of great pictures of amazing apartments and studios to give me a little bit of inspiration.

What's great about all of the above homes is that you don't really need to spend a ton of money to have a great looking place. You just need to be a little bit creative and thoughtful and be willing to spend some time and energy putting it all together. I know I always end up changing everything so much that it just ends back the way I put it in the first place, but it's the process of decorating itself and figuring out how you want things to go that's so fun and satisfying once you finally finish fiddling with it (not that I ever do).
