Karen Elson's Texas for UK Vogue

I was cottaging this past weekend and then updating the shop and fixing up my new office space so haven't really had time for a new post. I finished the Great Gatsby while I was in the wilderness on the weekend and I want to watch the 70s Mia Farrow/Robert Redford film version, so maybe I'll do a post on 20s inspired 70s style or something like that later this week. It's been so damn humid the past couple of days that I can barely manage to get anything done and just end up sitting in front of the fan.
Anyway, in the mean time I will just gush about how one of my red haired lady crushes is in British Vogue this month, lookin' fine and relaxed hangin' out in Texas. Obviously I cannot afford to actually buy British Vogue since I don't have a job at the moment, but thanks to the internet I can still oggle. Take a look:

This one is my favourite.
Where do I get a customized car like that?

These photos really make me want to take a road trip through the southern states and stay in a cheap motels with neon signs and eat in diners. Instead I will live vicariously through my teenage girl crush (yup, got a lot of girl crushes) Tavi as she roadtrips her way through America for Rookie mag.
