Shop Update - Dresses!

Finally managed to organize another shoot so I could add some more items to the shop. We just moved a couple of weeks ago and I found a much nicer background outside for the photos. I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of these pictures and it's starting to look how I've wanted it to look all along. That only took...6 months.
Take a look at some of the new dresses, modeled by my good friend and now neighbour, Nicola. She also has a blog, you can check out her opinion on people who don't know who Woody Allen is (wtf, I know).
1. Cotton Patchwork 50s Dress - $40 SOLD
2. Purple Floral Fancy Silk Dress - $40
3. White and Blue Polka Dot Forties Inspired 80s Dress with Belt - $28
I went shopping yesterday and got some pretty nice stuff for myself, including a wool multicolor stripey Laura Ashley Sweater, a 60s bright polka dot shift dress (another Laura Ashley find!), a couple of books on origami, some round gold and blue earrings and a flouncy black Club Monaco skirt. I took some not-so-quality pictures of the sweater and the dress:

I found the dress tucked away in the kids section.

There's tons more stuff in the shop now (including these shorts which used to be pants) and I want to keep doing updates as much as I can through the summer. I'm going home to Nova Scotia soon and I can't wait to hit up the 'retro section' of Louis' (don't know what Louis' is? You have not lived.) to stock up.
I will leave you with this song by Timbre Timbre, which I have been listening to a lot lately. I am also getting obsessed with the idea of dying my hair red and am completely consumed by the lady in the video's hair:
